Bell Choir is a group environment where residents enhance and maintain their physical and social skills by following cues, playing tone chimes, participating in group discussions and song selections. Bell Choir Concerts are performed 4 times a year.
Minds in Rhythm empowers residents with mental health concerns by using music and talk therapy which helps them identify their issues and aid in developing coping skills. Whether it's anxiety or depressive symptoms, this program creates a safe environment where residents open up and have a better understanding of themselves.
Men and Music is for men only, specifically designed to engage male residents using music, social interactions, and group discussions thereby reducing isolation and helping them develop relationships with their peers.
Music for Memory Care supports residents with Dementia, Alzheimer's, or any memory impairment. Our sessions focus on maintaining social skills and decreasing responsive behaviours with the usage of drums, movement, and singing.
These one-to-one sessions are suitable for anyone who has emotional needs. It's a mix of talk therapy and music. It's resident centred, beginning with an initial assessment followed by regular sessions where residents are encouraged and supported to achieve their set goals.
This program is tailored to add quality of life to the end of life with compassion and support. Our therapists address feelings of depression, isolation, and loss relating to the dying process in hopes of providing some comfort.
Caregivers are provided with peer support combined with music and group discussion thereby increasing their self-awareness and encouraging them to share their experiences.
Music for life is a virtual music therapy group specifically designed to engage participants using music, social interactions, and group discussions thereby reducing isolation and helping them develop relationships with their peers. Participants are given the opportunity to discover more about themselves within a creative outlet of singing, music listening, and movement.
Individual virtual therapy is suitable for anyone who has emotional needs. It's a participant-centred blend of music and talk therapy that begins with an initial assessment followed by regular sessions to encourage and support participants in achieving set goals.
