New Song Music Therapy ("Company," "we," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.

Our privacy commitment is based on the ten principles contained in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) ("PIPEDA").

This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of our website (https://newsongmusictherapy.com) including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the website. This policy applies to Personal Information we may collect via the website, email, text, forms, or other electronic means.

Personal Information under PIPEDA is any information about an identifiable individual, but does not include the name, title, business address or telephone number of an employee of an organisation.

Why do we collect Personal Information? We may collect Personal Information in order to provide music therapy services to you, your company, or your facility. In addition, we may distribute publications and/or offer mentoring opportunities concerning music therapy business practices.

The Company collects information in order to record and support any participation in activities you select. If you register to download a PDF or resources, sign up for communications, and/or engage us for services, we collect your information. We use this information to track your preferences and to keep you informed about the information and services you have selected to receive and any related information and/or services.

How do we collect personal information? We collect personal information only by lawful and fair means, and only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for the legitimate purposes identified and for which consent has been obtained.

We collect information provided by you on the website, communicating via email, responding to surveys, search queries on our blog, providing comments or other feedback, and providing information when contacting us about services we provide.

NON-PERSONAL ANALYTICS

We are committed to keeping your email address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as required by law.

All emails sent by us will be in compliance with the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation ("CASL"), including clearly stating who the email is from and providing clear information on how to contact the sender.

In addition, all email messages will also contain concise information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list so that you receive no further email communication from us. Users who no longer wish to receive newsletters or other informational materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the email.
